Shawn Piller is an established television producer, showrunner, writer and director. Most recently, Piller has served as Showrunner, Director and Executive Producer of the internationally acclaimed series Private Eyes.

In collaboration with his producing partner Lloyd Segan, he has delivered hundreds of hours of globally successful content that has garnered prestigious industry wide nominations and awards including Emmy, Saturn, GLAAD, Humanitas and Peabody.

Piller most notably served as Executive Producer and Director of Greek and Wildfire for ABC Family, and the television series adaptations of Stephen King’s acclaimed novels The Dead Zone for USA and Haven for Syfy.

Additional television directing credits include Rogue for Audience Network and The Art of More for Crackle.

Piller marked his feature film directorial debut with Sexy Evil Genius, starring Katee Sackhoff, Seth Green, Michelle Trachtenberg, Anthony Michael Hall, Harold Perrineau and Billy Baldwin.

Prior to joining forces with Segan, Piller partnered with his father, Michael Piller, in writing Star Trek: The Next Generation & Star Trek: Voyager.

He is a graduate of University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts.
